Behind is a collection of stories and lessons about life, pain and suffering, enduring, and about living each day with a chronic neurological disorder. It offers lessons on pain, reflection and hope. It bleeds honesty, it tears away any shield, leaving behind a vulnerable tale of how one young woman took control of her diagnosis over five long, seemingly endless years. Not only her journey of taking control of her diagnosis but taking control of her identity, and everything in life that makes her, fundamentally, who she is. That vulnerability is not a weakness, it is pure and utter strength.
